Once upon a time, in a land right under my feet, I thought that I might just be able to raise my family, farm organically without certifiers, auditors, verifiers and aggravations with other bureaucratic parasites, impeding my pursuit of happiness.
I was wrong.
I found out how wrong when I went to a meeting at Ava Stockyards featuring the interim State Veterinarian discussing a “new” cattle tagging program.
This was in July of 2005. There were roughly 400 unhappy farmers and ranchers in the audience. The vet, Dr. Taylor Woods, said that this was going to be mandatory in the State of Missouri in January of 2006. You would have to put a RFID tag into the ear of any cattle you wanted to sell at an auction barn. This was a pilot program for Missouri to test how well it would work in the rest of the country. One man got up and said he would just take his cattle down to Arkansas. Dr Woods told him that it wouldn’t do any good because Arkansas was going to be requiring the same thing pretty soon. When the man asked what happened if his cattle all froze their ears off, Woods said they would figure out another way to get that RFID onto the cow.
I stood up and asked a couple of questions, and then made a statement. I said, “It sounds like you just want to have complete control of the food supply”. Dr Woods stated, “We already do.”
That chilled me to my core, and I replied, “Well you better not, and we all better make sure that you don’t!”
Dr. Woods conducted the entire meeting without ever giving the name of this program. Several months later, when I went into a local feed store, they had a bright orange sign on the counter stating “Due to the Bioterrorism Act, we must now have your name, address and phone number to sell you feed”. I then had a name to search and quickly found that this program was the National Animal Identification System. And then I found out a whole lot more than I imagined possible.
This blog is dedicated to the fight for food freedom, and the mechanisms and policies being used to bring about Dr. Woods’ “complete control of the food supply”. I’m convinced that if we cannot retain the right to raise food and livestock, we cannot deceive ourselves into believing we are free.
I want to be free, and even more importantly, I want my children to be free. I hope you share that desire and will join me in standing on our blood bought freedoms.

I know it’s a year and a half later, but I just saw this and followed your link and the article has been “retracted”. Imagine that. I was quite disappointed and I have to say unsettled by that. I’m thinking that someone “got” to the author of that study and convinced him/her that their life and family would be a lot better off if the study just went away. Thanks so much anyway for trying.

Letter to the Editor:
There are NO LONGER any “natural food” stores left in Santa Cruz, except for perhaps the Food Bin.
Whole Foods, New Leaf and Staff of Life are ALL co-opted corporate right wing mafia run enterprises
designed to maximize profit and minimize human health.
Over 50% of all the food sold in these stores is GMO (genetically modified frankenfood) and comes from
the corporate agribusiness industry. (examples- Silk Soy milk is owned by mega-giant Dean Foods in Texas,
Odwalla Juice is owned by Coca-Cola, Naked Juice by Pepsi-Co and most shelf suppliments come from
the pharmaceutical industry.
All 3 chains have extensive meat departments (I’m sorry, but REAL natural food stores DO NOT sell meat!)
Whole Foods is pro-GMO, based in right wing Texas and had their CEO recently came out publically proclaiming
that global climate change was NOT a threat. New Leaf sells and promotes anti-environmental/materialistic
magazines such as Oprah and Vanity Fair, when they SHOULD be selling the Earth Island Journal and the latest issue of Earth
First!. Staff of Life is a heavy meat promoter and surveils people with an extensive spy camera system, thereby
supporting the ILLEGAL spy and surveillance fascist police state network that has (unfortunately)
arisen around us since 9/11.
All in all, the so-called “natural food” establishment in Santa Cruz is bought out, sold out, co-opted and run by
the corporate agribusiness industry- which is just the way they want it. Stealing every dime you have and making
you sick at the same time (more profits for the Big Pharma/medical complex) which they also own, run and control,
is their modus-operendi
What to do? BOYCOTT these establishments as much as you are able. We still have Farmer’s markets, dollar
stores and Trader Joes’s. Better to support what’s honestly not good for you than from HYPOCRITES selling us
natural “organic” GMO food in the interests of corporate agribusiness.
And lastly, watch out for any natural foods products that contain “natural flavors” in its ingredient list. The “natural
flavorings” cover is a way the chemical industry is putting cancer causing/mind control agents into your diet, dumbing you
down, fattening you up (for the slaughter) and destroying your immune systems- much like fluoride is doing
in our water supplies.

Check their FAQ page. http://silk.com/faqs Other good news: University of Arkansas has a new, traditional soybean breeding program, now. Arkansas has doubled its acreage planting of food grade traditional soybean the last two years in order to help accommodate a growing desire for edamame. It’s still only a small percentage of Arkansas soybean acreage; I think the gmo soybeans are only used for inks, crayons, biofuel, lip balm, etc, etc. Idk. I’m trying to find more answers. But if you want to know more, check out UA Kirksey Edamame. I think after it leaves the farms, some or all of it is being packaged and distributed by JYC Foods, right now. Then you need to research soybeans here in America and why no other country wants our soy or wheat or corn (because it is Monsanto modified death foods). Everything grown here in the US has been contaminated (research Monsanto taking farmers crops because of cross-contamination). Do not believe what a company says as they will always promote themselves and their profits above honesty.

Your story above reminds me of _The Unsettling of America_ by Wendell Berry, which I have to assume you have read. It sounds like a straight trajectory from Butz’s declaration that “Food is a weapon” to Taylor’s assessment of food control. Scary! … Keep fighting!

Please note that Satan does have the power and it was giving to him that he should have control of this world for a short period of time. It is downgrading the power that Satan has that is distracting people away from the truth. If Satan had not the power would California not have allowed the Temple of Satan to institute after school day care programs in public schools? Or protected HIV/AIDS people from persecution for knowingly spreading the virus without telling the person they are infected ( this law was recently made in California, whereas previously there was a law stating that it was a felony to knowingly contaminate someone with AIDS and not tell them). Everything is being turned upside down, good is now evil and evil is good. Satan is evil and people are accepting him rather than turning to the one true God of Abraham , Issac and Jacob. Even Christians are playing into Satan’s hands by allowing their kids to play Minecraft, ( mind craft) using Facebook, having iPhones, and allowing schools to teach their children about transgenderism and homosexuality (thanks to Obama the education now starts in Kindergarten), allowing their children to listen to smut like Miley Cyrus, Beyonce (satanic Allister Crowley inspired so-called music) . You simply boycott it by refusing to partake in those acts yourself, you dont have to protest, yell, screem, call people names, or even tell them that they are going to hell. each of our thoughts and actions will manifest heaven or hell in our own lives. Did not the yeshua tell you to make sure your character /soul was pure before concerning yourself with anothers character or soul. The moment you start doing that, the Evil has won. The only way they can win is to get you to hate. If you dont like something, do not become it, and if you must, remove yourself from that which is negitive. Trust that everyone who comes into your life has a reason and fear nothing not even death, for to be absent from the flesh is to be present with GOD. Be not offended my beloveds, for the FATHER sees all and will remove all that offends him. MAKE SURE YOUR HOUSE IS IN ORDER, at the end of the day, are you proud of how you have treated everyone who came into your path, were the words you used encouragng, helpful, did you help to bring someone closer to GOD. Beautifully written and it brought tears to my eyes as I have been dealing with an issue and it has almost become an obsession (I sell online and someone bought something from me and used it , added holes to it and then filed a return and the site I sell on has a policy of returned items which this buyer violated, yet I was told I had to refund the buyer even though the item is ruined!). I was angry and my thoughts were not very nice concerning this person or the site I am selling on. But your post brought something to clarity, that what once was pure and good in my life I allowed to become “anti-matter” . So I will do the refund and let go of the anger that I have harbored this past week because it is not my morals, ethics or principles that are in question but the buyers. And I cannot allow him to pass his unethical ways unto me (spiritually speaking). It is easier to give back $38.50 then to lose another night sleep over this and continue to damage my spirit by being angry. Thank you for your post.

So true. Scripture has been changed and it is creating a distortion of reality as to there being groups who will say it was one way and then a group that says it was another way. Once the old group passes away, the new group will only have one version, and it will be as if no other version ever existed. Like wine skins was wine skins in the bible, it was never bottles as glass was not in the Jerusalem area until the Roman empire brought it in around 1AD (note I said A.D. for after death and not CE for common era, as has changed in everything as well). The lion will lay down with the lamb, not the wolf. But if people want to be deceived then that is their choice to accept a lie versus the truth. It is people, such as yourself, that know the truth that will be free (spiritually), rather than being enslaved by forces that really are not promoting anything that is of God but man-made lies and deception. NKJV isn’t changed in all the same places as KJV. I don’t have NKJV here, but from what is available on line, it is changed in Isaiah 11:6 and 65:25, as well as Luke 19:27. I don’t know if there are any other things changed in NKJV.

KJV Isaiah 11:6 says “the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” So, what is a fatling? A fatling is a baby lamb – thus a “calf and the young lion and the ‘young lamb’ shall lie down together”… Not as dramatic considering the paintings and posters with lambs sleeping alongside a huge maned lion… So, yes, there it is – but what we’ve heard was “the lion shall lie down with the lamb” while we have the mental picture of an adult lion and a baby lamb. Just llke the term “lone gunman” is mysterious and intriguing, the phrase “lion shall lie down with the lamb” is much smoother to say than “the calf, the young lion and the fatling etc…”

Fyi, the scripture didn’t always say “wolf”. I have had it highlighted in many of my bibles. Had it said “wolf”, which is always the representation of satan, I would have noted that, as would millions of others. Fatling means a clean animal nearing butcher, not specifically a sheep, goat, calf, but any of those. Young and tender and about ready for butcher. If you want to discuss other things in relation to this, please do so on an article. Thanks!

Hello, I have noticed the word “Wineskins ” is no longer in my KJV Bible. Now it says “bottles”. I dont even think they had been invented in Matthes day . Check out Matt 9:17. It doesnt even make sense anymore. A new bottle is that same as an old bottle as far as wine storage whether new or old. A wineskin had to be old if you were storing new wine in it at that time. New wine in a new wineskin would of course burst.
So here is a new change to add to your list.
